Orc Team #2
Another Orc team made from the new range of GW plastic minis. I changed the
heads for the Linemen and Blitzers for some old ones I had from other projects. The Black Orks are almost made for Blood Bowl
conversions with their heavy armour. I think the Goblins turned out very nicely, especially with their poses. The two throwers
are converted from Arrer Boyz. I found the best way of working blue into the colour scheme was to have it as faded and tattered
denim.
Chaos Team
Here's a team I was commissioned to make. The beastmen are from the new GW
range. They work great as Blood Bowl players. I was a little unsure about the Chaos Warriors at first but when they were done
I think they worked brilliantly. The minotuar is a metal fig from GW.
Lizard Cheerleader
Here's a new piece I've just completed for a customer. Working from
a base model of a Warhammer Saurus miniature. I've re-attached the legs at the knees to close them up and I've added a longer
tail that the lizard is using like a coiled spring to launch itself in celebration. The pom-poms are simply green stuff.
CONVERTED RED INDIAN TEAM
The bulk of the team was based on Red Indian
figures from Foundry Miniatures. Plus a converted apothacary from Foundry and a Bear 'big guy' from D&D miniatures.
CONVERTED HUMAN TEAM
The core for the team is made from Phil's
Phigs miniatures with an awesome Heresy Cyclops big guy
CONVERTED ORC NOBS TEAM
The base models for the team are taken from the new GW Orc Nobs boxset. The troll is a
converted LOTR cave troll. This makes the miniatures in this team larger than your average Orc
CONVERTED NIGHT GOBLIN TEAM
The base models for this team
are taken from the old Night Goblins boxset of one piece miniatures. The troll is converted from a GW plastic troll (the one
holding the statues head up in both hands.) The colours are inspired by a Blood Bowl fanatic I painted for a customer last
year. I liked the colour scheme so much that I thought it worthy of a whole team.
